This serie of products allows you to integrate a EtherCAT with a PROFINET net.
In case of Siemens PLCs (or equivalent), it is possible to use S7comm protocol to get and set data into them from EtherCAT system.
S7comm protocol is a Siemens protocol: this protocol is very good if it is necessary to get and set data from/to the PLC without changing the configuration of the PLC itself.
This protocol will work as a debug protocol and the automation below the PLC will continue to work without any interferance.
The HD67E22-A1 are EtherCAT Slave / PROFINET Master Converters.
They allow to interface an EtherCAT Master (like a Beckhoff PLC, OMRON PLC etc..) with some PROFINET Slaves.

The HD67E73-A1 are EtherCAT Master / PROFINET Slave Converters.
They allow to interface some EtherCAT Slaves (like a robots, Fanuc device etc..) with a PROFINET Master net (for example a PLC, SCADA System...) in order to exchange the informations between the networks..
The HD67E28-A1 are EtherCAT Slave / S7comm Converters.
They allow to publish and get the data from/to a Siemens PLC (or equivalent) to an EtherCAT Gateway in order to exchange the informations between the networks without changing the configuration and stopping the automation of the PLC.
The HD67E78-A1 are EtherCAT Master / S7comm Converters.
They allow to publish and get the data from/to a Siemens PLC (or equivalent) from some EtherCAT slaves in order to exchange the informations between the networks without changing the configuration and stopping the automation of the PLC.
On EtherCAT side, there are 2 Ethernet ports for IN & OUT connections: they allow Line topology and Ring topology (for easy redundant communication).
